Hi, just retired , wanted a vette to tinker with, took a chance and bid on a 1987 on Ebay, got lucky, the car has been driven hard and put away wet many times, but it runs and drives great. Not new to corvettes, have owned over a dozen C3s, last one being a 1979 Black L82 4 speed. Had to sell it in 1984 due to first daughter being born. This 87 needs a lot of work but body and paint are good
Motor and trans work ok but the one big problem is the gages do not work, hate not having a fuel gage. Is a real pleasure to drive anyway.

Welcome from East Texas, glad that you were able to get another Corvette. I have lost many Vettes and only have one left, my 1972. It is in DFW in "ICU" after having a wreck back in october. It is on life-support and I'm fighting to save it. What part of Ft. Worth? I used to live in Azle.

Sorry to hear about the car must be really heartbreaking, I'm on the west side of Ft. Worth not to far from Azle
