I am a new member, Goodyear, AZ. I have an 81 corvette that I am working on. I've replaced many old parts trying to get it running smooth like it use to run. At this point there is a connection of the distributor that goes to a 4 wire fitting. Each time connect this wire, the car will stop running. Before it ran well the connected wires. Any ideas on why this is happening, thanks

I'm not familiar with the issue your having nor the solution. I am though familiar with Goodyear (friends live up above in a development in the Estrella mountains)
Congratulations and good luck with the C3 you're working!
