My first post.
I'm 6'3' 250lbs.
I' am shopping for my first corvette.
I like the 60 to 67 years.
I'd like to spend 40-80k
NO fixer-upers. Dealer or private sale?
Just asking for your opinions
Thanks,
cherokee
welcome to the forum!
Like Eric said. You'll definitely want to check out the C1&C2 and C3 section of the forum to best answer your question. Good luck!
53 thru 62 are called C1's/solid axles while 63 thru 67 are called C2's/midyears. They are two totally different corvettes. You may have to go to a corvette show to see if you can fit into either generation. $40k-80k can buy you a very nice corvette in any of those years, it can also buy you a fake rusted out POS. Sellers use miss leading terms, fraud is every where and unless you know what you are doing, you should hire an expert to inspect any corvette you are considering to buy.
