GOOD LUCK is there a hidden message here I AM A BIG BOY i can handle honest opions.please fill me in if you have any info
I have been through the Spring Mountain racing school program levels 1 - 3, raced various cars in SCCA, NASA, IMSA and USAC, lots of track days too...
I would NEVER buy a car used on the track as my daily driver / fun street car, as abuse is inevitable. I have personally witnessed the school cars taking off track excursions in to the desert on more than one occasion... That being said the one your considering may not have been off track, personally I would pass.
However, If your buying to build a "race" car then the cheaper the better. As your going to take it a part anyway to install "race" parts for safety, suspension, exhaust and take as much weight out of the vehicle as possible... Right?
If you going to go the race car route i would suggest buying one that is already complete. Let someone else take the hit on devaluation. You will save a ton of money as most race cars have very low resale....
Does any one have any info or thoughts on buying a former driving school vette. From Ron Fellows driving school in Vegas
