Belated intro
Hey guys, had a corvette for a couple years now, but am just getting around to be a part of the community! Sorry, grad school can be busy at times :/ I actually just got a red '98, cuz my purple '98 got totaled by a drunk driver, but, all in all it works out in the end. I'm plannin on doin some upgradin soon to my "new" 98. I miss bein able to hot rod around town and people lookin over at my car haha. My new one is completely stock, so it's got some work to be done but all is well. I go to med school down in Houston, TX, fell in love with corvettes from day 1, and will be asking for much advice whenever the time comes for me bein able to upgrade, I love learning as much as I can about my car! Btw I'm no stranger to the site, just late to actually become a member.

Welcome from a fellow Texan, and that is a sad thing to hear about your former C5.
With that said congrats on your new C5!
My 72 was wrecked back in October 2013, and has since been in the "ER" in DFW and is expected to make a full recovery.
