Another Newbie
I just picked up my first Corvette. I promised myself I would have one for my 45th Birthday. That didn't happen. It happened last week for my 65th Bday ( I did, however, get get a 1982 Harley FXE on my 45th, which i still have)
I bought myself an 89 coupe, garage queen,23K miles never driven in the rain. I was puzzled by the side pipes on my car as I had never seen anything like them until i came across picts of the first "Lister modified Vettes" and there were my pipes.
I'm now looking for tire as the car is riding on the factory originals,considering Continental extremes, Nitto 555 or Sumitomo Htr ZIIs, Opinions on the rubber please.

Thanks, Happy to find this forum. Ive learned a lot reading all the posts.
As I'm only familiar with the old technology, carbs and no computer systems in cars, what is a good scanner so I can get into the codes and get my feet wet?
