My wife is in love with c1's. We recently went to the O.C. Md. car show and saw tons of beautiful cars. My question is, how do you know if a c1 convertable is a good deal. We are both new at this and would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
John D

If you have to ask, then you need to hire an expert. These cars are old and almost all of them have issues. The terms used by sellers are miss leading and there is a lot of fraud as well. It took me three years to find a rust free and reliable '66 and during that time I found a mechanic and an expert to do the inspection. Go to the C1 & C2 section and read the books that are suggested you read. Go to corvette shows and start meeting C1 owners. Good luck
C1s are a real work of art. I really miss my previous ones. Sounds like a cool wife, as she is into cars and into one of best generations of Vettes. Nice job!
