Hi Im new here name is Steve. I have a 65 Coupe that I have owned 2 times now. Hence my username. First bought it in 1976, sold it in 84, bought it back in 90. It dosent seem anything was done to it in the years it was gone, except a tire change and and likely a ujoint failure on one of the half shafts as there is some damage to the storage compartment probably caused by an out of control half shaft. LOL, nothing too bad. I have redone the car 3 times over the years, It looks pretty good now although it was about 9 years ago i did paint, interior, motor, tranny, brakes, some lights and new wiring. Last year i put in a new main dash harness, steeriods rack n pinion, rebuilt the front suspension, new aluminun radaitor, Vintage Air, and ceramic headers. Now im redoing the almost 50 year old trailing arm bushings and rear wheel bearings. I hope that gets it for a while. Its original Milano Maroon with saddle car, but now its a 2000 GM Metallic Green, dark, with repo saddle interior. I put an aftermarket L88 for C2 hood on it. I like it. Ill try to post pics soon.
I heard something sounded loose in the left rear which is why im redoing the rearend and also because its never been done. I want to drive obviously but not if theres a problem so im fixin it.
However this is taking more time from my other current project which is a complete resto of a 67 Olds 442 that i REALLY want to get done, but still have a ways to go on it.
I also have a 73 Trans Am thats nice, now all i need is a Buick GS and Ill have my GM line up.
Sorry this was so long, nice to be here
Thanks
Steve
