This will be a little off the beaten path.
I am trying to identify a particular C5 that my older son (then seven years old) helped birth on a Corvette plant tour during the summer of 1999. From information on the internet, and the date and time of day of the visit, I have an estimated VIN number. And we know the car behind was a Euro or Japanese spec yellow Corvette, probably picked up at the plant. And we think the car in front of it was white.
My thought was to stop by the Corvette Museum this summer for a day or two to identify the VIN number...
But is there a better way? The C5 registry won't respond to my query.
Any advice any of you could offer is appreciated.
