Hello corvette forum. I just wanted to introduce myself as i just joined. I have been an avid cobra enthusiast since 2005 when i bought my black 2004 cobra. I sold my cobra and am considering buying a c6z06 but wanted to read up on them and learn more about them before making a purchase so i joined this site. Background on my 04 cobra i just sold. I bought that car in 2005 from the 1st owner with 9k miles on it bone stock. From that point until i just sold it last weekend i went through quite a few transformations. Here is a rundown of the setups i had.
-stock motor/kenne bell 2.2
-built motor/twin turbo
-built motor/ported heads/ cams/kenne bell 2.8
-built motor/procharger F1A
-another built motor/F1A on e85
When i sold it, it was tuned on E85 running 18psi making 845rwhp. I look forward to meeting many of you.
Welcome, and I have a 1970 428 Cobra Jet Mustang, but have always been a Corvette guy long before I ever thought about buying a Mustang. Truth be told, both are cool, and American, but only one really is the best. Chevy's Corvette. I have driven plenty of Vettes, and Mustangs, and over cars, and while they are fun, the Vettes always just keep begging you to push them a little further and harder each time. It is hard to work on self discipline when Vettes are so much fun. I have driven a few C6s, and a highly modded C6 Z06. I have to say that the Z06 C6 was one of the most awesome driving experiences I have ever had.
