Hello, I am a new forum reader and user. I bought an 05 Convertible almost two months ago. Ive been driving mostly around the city but yesterday I took a road trip to the NC mountains. I had an great time driving the curves around Murphy, Owning a Vette has been a dream since I took my brother n laws 72 coup for a weekend. I have wanted one ever since. Yesterday I made up for the years lost now owning one. The car is awesome, handling, power, and just all around a great looking car. Thanks for all the education i get for the forum.

Welcome Paul on the C6! I am glad to hear that you are enjoying your Corvette. I have a 72 coupe myself, so I know what you were probably experiencing that really drove home the "sold" sign on getting a Vette. It would be cool to take the '72 and '05 on a road trip. I think the C3 and the C6 are the closest in design (maybe the C7 now) as the front and fenders bulge and just looks similar. The C6 to me feels like it is a grown up version on a C3. Anyways, best of luck, and when you get chance you should post some photos.
