Default Help a potential newbie out

We'll I'll start out saying that I have owned every American made sports car there is except a Corvette. Always wanted one but always felt they were too $$ for my pockets. But I think I am finally going to purchase one. I don't and will never purchase a vehicle new. So based upon that I've have narrowed it down to two cars and I need some help in my decision making. I've done plenty of research on the two as far as specs go, but just need some info as to why you as current Corvette owners would choose what and why. Here it is..... I'm looking to buy a C5 Z06, or C6 (05-07) in base to 3LT package. I love the Z06 performance, but prefer the C6 styling. Yes I know they have the Z06 in the C6 but I'm not willing to pay that amount. So that is out of the question. The C6 just looks more refined and aggressive in styling to me. But the C5 Z06 ...we'll that just says it...it's a Z06. It's mainly the interior that I dislike in the Z06. Enough of me rambling on.... What do you as current owners suggest? Thanks!

I'd go for the newer one. You can always upgrade the performance if you so desire as well.

Cheers!
