The hand-me-down...
Hey all,
Just wanted to say hello, introduce myself, tell a little bit of my story, you know the drill.
My name is Ryan and I am a new C4 owner!
My father, Roger, bought his first Corvette about 15 years ago, a silver 1984 C4, gray interior with what looks like a birds-eye maple interior. He was so happy and proud. He and my mom used to go on cruises to the beach for dinner and just generally use it for cruising. No track days or hard driving... that being said, Dad and I used to race cars when I was younger, so i think its safe to say that in her 59,000 miles, she has probably had more than a few spirited miles put on her.
This weekend they finally decided that it was time to part with her and as I made them promise, gave me the first opportunity to buy "Dads Vette".
In pretty good shape, needs a little love here and there but runs like a champ, looks amazing, bone stock - just the way I prefer it.
Hope to meet and talk with everyone as my obsession grows.
