Arizona Potential 1st Timer
I have decided to purchase my first for my 60th birthday. I hope to place my order by the end of next week for a Z51 2Lt in either Artic White or Laguna Blue ( wife is in negotiation process). Planning on a museum pickup and drive back to az before winter. Anyone place a recent order that could give me a ballpark on what dealers are telling you for lead-times? I am impressed with the knowledge I have already gotten on this forum in the past few days. Look forward to the enjoyment the future will bring.......

Anyway, I received mine about two months ago and the entire process from order to vehicle delivery was about 16 weeks but the last 4-5 weeks were delivery so picking it up should shave some time off. What I don't know is how the 2015 orders will impact the schedule versus the 2014's. Regardless, it is worth it to special order and get exactly what you want. They are magnificent!!!

Delivery time in the past was a function of how many new cars were headed to dealers near you. Transportation company usually waited until they had enough cars for a full load on the that 18-wheeler headed in your direction. So actual delivery could take a few days to a couple of weeks.
