Goodbye Sc430, Hello Corvette
My brother wrecked his gs300 just last weekend so I decided to transfer the title of my 2002 sc430 to my brother as a gift.
Goodbye Sc430. You've been reliable and fun however your brand is bland and boring.
Long story short, I'm excited to soon become a new owner of a white 2008 Corvette C6 Coupe. Preferably my budget is under 30k.
I'm 23 years old with a steady paying job in IT along with a one man IT consulting business on the side. Realized things are better when you're younger so whatever chance I get, I'm taking it.
Right now, I'm looking at cars.com and will seeking inspectors around the area of the potential vette to check out before the purchase and delivery.
So far, Corvettes seems to have OK reliable and my friend has been a mechanic at a Chevrolet Dealer for the past 5 years. Not gonna tell him about the acquisition but will surprise him when I stop by for schedule maintenance. Other Vette owners seem to go to a specialized mechanic however, I'll weigh my options once theres a problem.
Either way. God Bless America and everyone that helped build such a beautiful car. This car is truly the American dream.
