Hey Corvette Forum I am a new member from Maryville, Tn. I joined the forum a few months ago but I didn't have a Vette at that time. I purchased a 1999 FRC last week so I am introducing myself. This isn't my first Vette but it's my favorite by far. It's been owned locally for several years, I have had my eye on it for a while and when it came up for sale last week I snatched it up. The car is a 99 but the original LS1 was replaced with a C5-R block, 427. It has all forged internals, Comp cam, AFR heads, FAST fuel system and lots of other high end parts I'm forgetting I'm sure. She also has a C5 Z transmission, C6Z brake upgrade, Tiger Shark front and rear end, HRE wheels and C5 seats. I have borrowed some professional pics fro the previous owner, my camera skills aren't so good. Its great to be back in a Vette, the last one I owned was back in 2005, and its great to be on this forum.

OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: An Early Blue Devil
We're getting all custom up in here with this Corvette of the Week: a 1999 fixed-roof coupe owned by forum member "lslvr638".
While ordinary fixed-roof coupes were born before the benefits of the LS6's power boost that made the C5 Z06 legendary, thanks to the magic of modification, this fixed-roofer is a legend in its own right.

Congrats on your outstanding C5 and welcome to the forum.
I don't see a lot of really nice C5's around here in SW FL but you do have yours standing tall for sure. Best of luck with it.

Great car! I have not seen it around Blount Co. Guess I dont get out much My 68 has been in a state of perpetual project condition, but I also have a stockish 03 coupe that my wife drives daily.
Great mods on your car. Maybe we can meet some time and I can see it in person.
