I just recently sold my daily driver a Cadillac CTS to finally purchase a 75 stingray. this is the body style I have dreamed about since I was just a young boy. I plan a doing a full restoration including a frame off and upgraded steering and suspension. if there are any tips It would be greatly appreciated. also I need help finding parts in my area to possibly save on shipping. my first battle has been finding a 75 frame or possible roller to speed my restoration along.
Before starting on anything too in depth, I suggest picking up a few books for reference. They'll be invaluable for your build. For a list of recommended books to purchase, see this thread.
Another suggestion would be to go through the car and find out what parts are missing, damaged and/or will need replaced. Make a spreadsheet listing those parts, as well as various vendors and their prices. That way you'll make sure you're getting a decent price on the part, and can possibly bundle things together for shipping.
