After many years of salivating over them, I am getting serious about buying my first C2 Corvette. I found this forum hoping to gather as much info as possible before buying.
Welcome and I have to say that I miss mine. You'll love your future C2 and wish you had bought one years ago.
What are you looking for?
Year?
Color(s)?
Coupe or convertible?
Small block or big block?
AC or no AC?
4 speed or automatic?
Original or modded?
Project, driver, or trailer queen?
Carbs or fuel injection?
Drum brakes (63-64) or disc (65-67)?
Side pipes or no side pipes?
Anyways obviously many choices, but these are the common questions to ask yourself while looking for one.

Convertible. Driver. Blue or Black. AC. 4 Speed would be nice. I don't have a huge budget, Maybe $40K, so I can't be too picky on details. I realize with that budget it won't be perfect. Thanks!
Like you, I am new to the website. For 5 months I search for the right Corvette including the C2. I owned a 1964 auto Conv with HT but sold it for a swimming pool for the kids in FL back in the early 70's. In my search, I could not find a C2 that was not heavely modified for under 50K. I finally bought a C5 '04 rag top 6 speed with 31K. Love the car but my thoughts always go back to the C2 years. I hope you are successful in your search.
