Hello all...
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I didn't want to build my 2012 Camaro up too much because it would...void the warranty. The 5th generation Camaros are great, but they are flawed, and I had a manual transmission. The design of the clutch pedal assembly and shifter, and slave cylinder were weak. My Camaro was temperamental at best. It was a beast when it ran and drove though. Went through 3 sets of tires in about 2 years or less.
But when it came time to fix it, EVERYTHING that was breaking was not under warranty. All of the things under warranty worked and never had an issue. So that was my "final straw" with the warranties. If you plan to own the car long enough that the warranty would expire, and can wait that long to do the mod, it might be worth it to wait. But I personally would just go ahead and install them. I would keep everything stock and in case something needed to be fixed, and I was going to mess with warranty work...I swap parts and then later re install them. A pain yes, but that is one way to get around the voids possibly.
Hope that helps.
