Hi, I just bought my first Corvette which is a 70 LS 5 big block car that has been sitting in a garage for 25 years with the engine partially disassembled. I now have the transmission rebuilt and am working on the engine. This site has been extremely helpful so far with member posts giving detailed instructions of how to put my car back together again. I look forward to sharing any information that I learn while restoring this car. Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you very much. We now have the tranny as well as the short block together. The heads were rebuilt 25 years ago and never reinstalled so I had a machine shop check them out, replace the valve seals and install new springs that match the factory replacement Crane cam and lifters that I am using. It's now near time to start rebuilding the factory brakes, replacing the suspension parts and tackling other projects under the hood and car. I'll try and post some pics once I get a little more time and figure out how.
