I have been a registered member to this forum since 2006. That was about the time I had my first vette which was a yellow 2002 Z06. Had a textrelia twin clutch, vararam, hurst shifter, Big brake kit etc etc just all bolt ons. Sadly I lost that vette in a car accident on the turn pike. Had drag radials and it was a typical florida day so rain as really heavy. Lost it on the on ramp and went into a truck then into the median. After losing it I never thought of getting another vette until I improved my driving. I was 20 at the time of owning the vette and needed to add some driver mods.

Went through a few cars since then: Infiniti G37S which felt extremely slow after the lease I dumped her and purchased a 1995 Nissan Silvia which was stolen a week after buying. Purchased a Jaguar XK and that never started. I got to drive a lot of interesting loaners from enterprise which was nice.

After that I stopped and was sick of spending money on cars. So I got myself a Smart Fortwo for about 9k. I still own it and use it to commute daily since I drive over 50 miles a day. Fun and reliable little thing. Anyway after two years of near death expierences with the smart on I-95 and dealing with the finger pointing and being laughed at daily I was able to suck it up and buy my dream car again. I went to a private dealer in Palm Beach (Auto Elite Group if anyone is interested). Went there and fell in love with her.

2004 Yellow C5 Z06 low miles and mod red interior. Car was flawless one owner too which adds to the awesome. Needless to say I drove it home that day.

(present day)
It has been about half a year since then and I am loving the car. Just got it back today from Jeremy over at Horse Power Sales florida with a new set of Kook's headers with X pipe.

Spent the entire day driving up and down the beach coast today just enjoying the sound and feeling of the car. Great to be back in a vette.

welcome back to the forum!

I've driven in Florida in the heaviest of rains and NOBODY slows down. Glad you made it out alive! I could not imagine driving that Smart in Florida highway traffic.
