Just bought my first Corvette, a 1989 convertible. It was in fair shape. Body and paint good, interior good but mechanically it needed a lot of help. Replaced the exhaust and rear universal. Broke my hand removing the leaf spring. Can anyone tell me how to take the tension off the spring when removing the nut? Had to replace the throttle body. The climate control module is out being repaired. Replaced the blower motor (I think that's what caused the module to burn out). The antenna doesn't work. The headlights don't close and I have a short in the turn signal harness. Just what an old retired engineer needs to keep him busy. I was at the Ocean City Maryland show and met a lot of helpful people. I look forward to meeting more Corvette enthusiasts. Hope I can be as helpful as you all have been.
