Default New Member and New Corvette

I only recently joined the Corvette forum. I live near Houston Texas and have had many corvettes over the years, but never had a new one. I have a 1957 and a 1970 LT1 that I have restored and just picked up my first new corvette at Kerbeck. They not only had the best price around, but were awesome in every way. I drove back to Houston and not only does the C7 have awesome power, but the ride is amazing. Now the only problem is deciding on the next road trip.

Welcome to the Forum, glad to hear of a new LT1 member. I have an Ontario Orange 72 LT1 coupe. Put some photos out when you can, a nice group shot would be great.

I just looked at your photos for you '72, very nice C3.

I too have an Ontario Orange '72 350/4 speed. I am restoring mine right now. Just rolled 50,000 miles. It was my first car, and it has been from Hawaii to Tennessee, to Wisconsin to Texas. Great car, fun , yet a different kind of fun for road trips. Would love to see more Ontario Orange C3s join the CF.

Awesome ride. Now get that thing out there and beat the hair off of it. When you get your plates in don't use the front plate holder it rubs on the paint. I used the Corvette one that rides inside the front grill and doesn't touch the paint. Ignore the no license plate symbol on it. Drill out the little dimples for the included screws that come with the other holder and bend the front plate slightly to fit.

Default License Plate

Thanks for the advice on the license plate holder. My current plan is to leave the front plate off until the police tell me I have to put it on.
