I am looking at purchasing my first Corvette as a new neighbor of mine will be selling it shortly. It is a 2005, automatic w/glass top with 4,800 miles on it. He is the second owner as he bought it 8 years ago with 150 miles on it. We have had some casual conversations about it but he does not know that I am interested in it as I am in the process of restoring a 64 T-Bird.
The car is mint and well kept. Since this would be my first venture with a Corvette, I would like to ask the experts on what price would be fair for the vehicle. I don't want to nickel and dime the guy but then again, I don't want to pay an inflated price for it. He mentioned that this was a mid price point vehicle when new. I have looked at many sites for similar cars and look at what they are asking...but this does not show what they are actually selling for. I have checked Kelly Blue Book and the completed listings of EBay to get a feel for the price range but I thought that I would look to the experts for advice. I feel that I am hooked on getting a Corvette and this is a great opportunity for me. Thanks for helping a rookie.

With the heads up display and the screen, it sounds like the car has the 1SB option package, which is the top option package. That also means it has heated seats, sport seats, memory package for mirrors, steering wheel, favorite radio stations, Bose premium audio speakers, among others.
"The screen" makes it sound like it also has the navigation system.
All of the features have RPO ("regular production option") codes that are 3 characters each and appear on a sticker in the extreme left inside of the glove box, on the glove box door. At the end of that list, look for the code 1SB. That's the major option package code.
