Hello, I've never really been a fan of GM, but I've always like(d) Vettes... and late model Cadillacs. I've owned several Mustangs throughout the years, including a couple GT500s most recently.
I am looking forward to the new GT350, but seriously considering a C7. I really like the new platform and overall appearance.
I've built the car a few times on the Chevrolet site to include the following:
- 7 Speed Coupe
- Arctic White/Black
- LT2 w/Z51
- MSRC
- Black Wheels & Carbon Flashed Accents
- Etc.
Looks like a great forum. I've learned a lot over the past few weeks. Thanks

Welcome! I have a '70 428CJ Mustang and have other older fords. I test drove the new S550 and fell in love with it. Ford did a great job on it, and I almost cried not taking it home with me after looking at it. But I want a C7/S550, but need a 4 door/long bed truck. Anyways best of luck with either car, you can't really loose.

I've been a Ford guy forever, owned and drove nothing but F-150s for the last 31 years.
So when I got the car bug I started looking at Mustangs and saw basically nothing in my price range that I would own I shifted my search to 87 - 92 Z-28s.
After 5 months of searching and 4 road trips with cash in hand I was confronted with only misrepresented rusty junk.
So with some gentle swaying (not) from a friend that's owned about a dozen Corvettes I changed directions and found a nice 89 coupe, right across the bay.
I am sooooooooooooooooo happy I chose one over a Z-28. There's enough to keep up with and restore without having to deal with body rust.
Welcome to the forum, hope you add a nice Corvette to your stable. ("Nice Corvette", is that an oxymoron?)

I noticed your name and remember you from the GT500 forum, the C7 is a great car. I liked it so much I ordered a Z06 last week. In my opinion they are much more car than the GT500. I still hang over there quite a bit, great group of people.
Good luck with your decision which ever way it goes.
