The last hurrah!
Hello, fellow Corvette owners. I've owned numerous Vettes over the past 30 years. The most recent was an '02 coupe which got traded in on a "Country Cadillac" (F-150). I couldn't bear the thought of driving the Vette on the dirt/gravel roads near my home in Oklahoma. That was 7 years ago, but my passion for Corvettes never left. The wife and I were watching a Mecum collector car auction on TV and started talking about Corvettes. That got the juices flowing again. We decided on a budget and went Corvette shopping. We found an '89 convertible at a local dealer, but came home with a nice, clean '81 coupe. She's nothing special...Metallic silver, red interior; but it's the one I'll drive off into the sunset with. BTW, I got over the dirt road thing
