Just bought my 66 vette. This is my first vette. I have a few questions about my hardtop. I have a gap, where the bottom meets the deck lid and it is causing some noise whenever I hit a bump. I need some help.

I can't really help you out since I have a 66 coupe. However, there are a lot of midyear owners in the C1 & C2 section. Welcome to the forum and to the midyear club. Dont forget to post some pics

Ask your question here:

PS Dont use the term "vert" short for convertible, it drives some of the old farts nuts.

You may need new rubber. Welcome to the forum.

The rubber appears to be new. It looks like the top is just not sitting on the deck lid properly. There is a gap where they meet. I can see two rubber bumpers that might be for adjustments.

Photobucket or a similar site is one way, but another way is the "insert image" button found on the response page to a post. It is left of the youtube button.
