I've been reading lots of great info on the forums for the last several weeks while I wait for my car to be built and become a first time Vette owner.
Seems like a pretty good community with a wealth of knowledge, so I finally decided to register incase I need to start asking some questions, and who knows, maybe in a few years I might learn enough to share some myself.

While the car was out, I fixed up her new home, putting epoxy down on the floor and installing new garage cabinets.
I just got it back from the shop tonight, so I'll post some more pics when I get a chance, but the next few days it looks like rain here.

Which dealer did you get it through? This forum is a great wealth of info but you might check out the Longhorn Corvette Club if you want to interact directly with other Corvette people and take part in various local events (cruises, car shows, etc).

I'll check out the Longhorn Corvette Club soon. This weekend I'll probably take my car out to the monthly Leander Car Show, since it looks like they moved it up a week due to the conflict with Easter next weekend. Might also check out the MOC show in Round Rock on Saturday, not to enter, but just to check out the other cars at the show.
Just noticed there's also a Austin Stingrays & Sharks Social this Saturday in north Austin as well, so I'll probably be stopping by there as well.

I bought it from Rick Conti in OH. The local dealers here wanted 15k over MSRP and tried to convince me that no one would be selling the Z06 for MSRP.
