Welcome and yes I ported and polished my heads and intake. Yes it is worth it IMO. You should ask this in the C6 section, and you will get a more accurate response for your C6.
This is for a C3, but I ported and polished it myself, so it was free. The only costs were sandblasting them and having them milled. Other than that it was free, aside from the cost of electricity and having the drill with the bits,etc.
