My name is Joe and I recently purchased my third Corvette but it's been forty years since my last one. This one is a numbers matching white/light saddle '70 coupe with the 350/350, a four-speed and air. I'd forgotten how much fun they are to drive and I'm loving every minute I spend behind the wheel. I believe that joining this forum will help me get the info need to return my C3 to a great daily driver.
I am glad to hear that another C3 owner joined the CF. Even more so, a fellow East Texan. I am from Tyler. Two weeks I ago I flew up to Mineola Wood County Airport KJDD (I am a pilot) and went and ate at the Kitchen Hardware Store for breakfast. Anyways I own an orange '72 350/4 speed coupe.
Thanks to all for the many welcomes. Sorry for the late reply but it's been a busy last several days. I located a C3 expert in Tyler and paid him a visit on Saturday. He will be doing some of the under car maintenance (pinion seal, clutch) in the not too distant future. I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how (posting from my phone at present). Thanks again and Y'all have a great week!

Let me know how it goes, and I might possibly be interested in getting the contact info if he does good work. My '72 is still in various stages of re assembly after a recent paint job. I need to do the suspension and bottom on my '72.

Post some pictures when you can!
Sorry for the delay in responding, Brandon. I've posted a few pictures and am finding my way around this site.
Next time you are in Mineola I recommend trying out East Texas Burgers if you've never been there.
Welcome to the forum.sounds like you found one sweet ride.
Thanks for the welcome!
The car is driveable but I'm about to have the pinion seal and clutch replaced. Once mechanically sound I'll be doing some minor interior work, then paint.

I haven't been yet, but I do want to go. That is where I wanted to go but they opened up later than Kitchens. If I had waited around for them to open I would have had an hour to order, eat, get back to the airport, pre flight, and get the bird in the air. Without having been there before, I figured that the waiting time to for them to make it would be long, especially being the first ones in. So we just went over to Kitchens and had a brunch. It was good. I would go back, just one thing that was annoying was everyone staring at my buddy and I. I guess everyone could tell we were pilots and weren't from Mineola.
