Recently purchased a 1994 red w/ black, auto, LT1 coupe, 40k and super clean and maintained. Seller was motivated, got for $8400.00. Car always driven in fair weather, stored and covered inside. I haven't had a hobby car for quite sometime, (13 years).
Before then I had a 1995 Cobra Mustang, purchased new and a 1968 AMX 390 go pack. Sold the Mustang in 1998 to help finance another house I was building. Loved the Cobra, it had 7000 miles on it. Paid $22400.00 new, sold for $17300.00 . The AMX was purchased in 1983. I restored it in the early 90's. Had in excess of $16,000.00 in it. The car was a labor of love, blood and sweat. Sold the AMX in 2002 for $9600.00. Wasn't using much anymore. Sold it just before the prices went way up.
Looking at this (new to me) Corvette, it seems to have been a terrific bargain. It appears as new, has solid performance, respectable fuel mileage, comfort and handling. I think the C4 Corvette is one of the best bargains out there. Looking to drive and enjoy it for years to come. All this for a fraction of the money invested (in 1990's dollars) in either of my former toys. Looking forward to a warm spring in upstate NY.
Excellent choice and a great price. I bought my 1990 last November for $8,000. It was originally purchase in Las Vegas and only came north in the last 5 years so it was in great shape. Enjoy I know I do.
