New Guy
I'm from Cincinnati. This will be my first Vette (3LT Z51 VY Coupe). I was the prime target for the C7. Although I did special order a '67 Chevelle SS 396 (I still have the window sticker) when I graduated from school, this basically is my first domestic car in over 40 years. I've owned seven Lotus cars and have vintage raced a '63 Lotus 23B for about 20 years. I also have a '08 2-Eleven track car. Started to take notice of the Corvettes when the C5 Z06 was first introduced. Really became interested with the aluminum chassis C6 Z06 and the success of the C6R. Tired of traveling for service, I decided to thin the street going Lotus herd and get a C7.
I flew reconnaissance helicopters in Vietnam for the Army. I'm also an avid motorcyclist with over 50 years of riding experience. I am partially retired.
Hoped to have my car soon but unfortunately I made a decision to buy locally and having trouble with allocation and constraints! Thought I had asked all the right questions, but apparently not. Live and learn!
Best to everyone!

I haven't done any of that stuff except the bike riding thing. Been on one of those mose of my life. Actually the only four wheeled vehicles that were at my house until the other day were my company truck and my wifes GMC Sierra. I decided my company's yard was a better place for that company truck so I started used car shopping. That turned into a 96 LT4
. It makes my day and will give the youngsters at work something to talk about.
