Default Hello from So Cal

Decided it's finally time to get a Corvette.

So I'm here to learn all I can to make the right decision on which generation.

Should it be a modern one one with all the technology and amenities. Great brakes, handling and creature comforts? Or the classic pavement pounder with no A/C, dodgy brakes and iffy wipers.

Once i weigh all the options I plan on throwing it all out the window and getting the Vette that makes me giggle every time I see it in the driveway or get in it.

Welcome from Texas and each generation has something to offer.

I have owned classics and newer ones (C5) and driven C1-C6's and sat in a C7.

I love the classics, the newer ones are refined and really comfortable, and have the the ability to break 200 MPH.

The classics have the smells, sounds, and the vibrations, and heritage.

It will be a tough choice!

I have owned 15 or so vettes from '57 to my current C7. The classics are "works of art" to look at and fun to drive. If you want a daily driver the newer the better! Best of luck. In this case..there is no wrong answer!
