introduction
Hello all. New to the forum and looking forward to building my corvette experience.
I have long been a fan of Corvettes (started as a kid when my dad had a 58 vette. He sold it in 1970 for $350.00) and find myself with a 1974 454.
I have had it for over a year and with spring around the corner am vowing to get it out more this summer. It needs some work.
I have a couple of questions and again stress that I am a novice with working on Corvettes.
1st question: to where does the vacuum line for the headlights connect. I imagine on the carb but would appreciate some guidance. I have the metal tube that runs along the intake but from there it goes to the breather valve on the drives side valve cover (cant be right).
2nd question. The fan blower is on low in the off position and off in the high position. Is this a switch problem?

Welcome and sounds like we grew up similarly. Dad had a '60 and I have had several C1-C5's, but now just a '72. Would love to see some pictures! Ask your questions in the C3 section. You will get more accurate response there. I feel like I know the answer, but not for sure. Others will though.
