Hello From Canada
Hello from Canada
Finally got the order # for my 1st Corvette. Always wanted one but timing was never right. Last Feb/2014 at the Toronto Auto Show, I decided to put a deposit down on a 2015 Z06/Z07 Package, 3LZ package, stage 3 Carbon Package and convertible. Hoping to get it by the summer, can hardly wait. Also I'm new to the Forum and have discovered that there is a ton of great stories and info to read. Thanks

Welcome and I was at my Chevy dealer today picking up my new (special ordered) 2015 2500HD and he has a ton of Vettes at this dealership. He has C1,C2,C3,C4,C5,C6,C7s. It is a small town dealership that has been around for 70 plus years. Anyways, he got a shipment of C7 Z06's today, and man they are awesome looking! Congratulations on yours!

Received a call from my dealership here in Canada and was told that if I want a 2015 Z06, I have to drop the Z07 Track Pkg and the Visible Carbon Fiber Pkg and go with the painted Carbon Fiber Pkg.....I'm so frustrated....what can I do

That is sad! Take the car, and I guess enjoy it and build your own version the Z07? I would ask...demand really that you get some kind of special deal or something to counter the loss of the Z07 package.

I paid full list for this car, not a penny off nothing and it wasn't from lack of trying....$140,000...taxes in. The only thing they said they can do for me is refund the money for the Z07 pkg...and refund the difference from Painted Carbon fiber vs painted....around $1100.00. Do you think it would be worth calling Taj Juncter in Kentucky?.....Don't even know if I can get a hold of him....I'm just the low guy on the totem pole....really disappointed. I told them I just want the car

I would think that going to the top directly would be better than middlemen that may or may not pass along the right information.

Well I have had dinner with Dave Hill (former Corvette designer from C4-C6) at HIS house, so just simply talking to him would seem to be easier than hanging out with the guy at home.
I would think that going to the top directly would be better than middlemen that may or may not pass along the right information.

Thank-you very much for the advise, I'm going to try to call down to Bowling Green tomorrow and see if I can talk to someone higher up. I will let you know how that goes.....thx again for all your help, appreciate it a lot!....steve
