Default Here from Moore, Oklahoma 1980

ts a 1980 Corvette L82 with a ZZ4 crate motor 355hp (stock zz4 ) It has a bit bigger cam, 383 fastburn aluminum vortec heads, Edelbrock Air-gap intake , 1.6 roller rockers, ceramic coated hooker headers, going into cut outs (either open headers or run them through the side exhaust)
I use Mobile 1 full synthetic
I did take it to Thundervalley once. (Local 1/4 mile track) Just to see what it would run. It ran a 13.555 @ 103.69 not bad from a factory 15.2 sec car.

Has a TH350 3 speed tranny
I plan on doing the 700r4 tranny upgrade (gives a lower 1st and 2nd gear with over drive) * not installed* but I do have the 700r4 transmission for it

Pioneer stereo into some 6x9's in the rear. into a custom box with a Diamond 12" Sub powered my a micro 350watt amp. Interior is pretty decent. I had the drivers seat redone a couple years ago. The passengers side is good with no rips. The color is Ox blood

Tires and wheels are brand new with maybe 20 miles on them.
255/35R20's

C5 - C6 (2004 model) Z06 front brake upgrade with after market drilled and slotted rotors.
Will be doing the O-Ring rebuild upgrade to the rears

The color on the car is a Black Cherry.

I got this 12-9-2009 with 45802 miles (2,000 miles on new motor) It sits alot as I only have 46,499 miles on it almost 5 and a 1/2 years later Ive only put 697 miles on it. I used to be a mechanic so I know how bad it is for things to just sit around thats why every couple of months I would start it up and take the kids for a ride around the block.

I went to Lee as well. Here is a photo of my '72 at Lee with another C3 CF member's '78. There was also a maroon '80 that another buddy drove to school.

Yeah, Tyler has really grown over the past decade.

All of the TISD schools essentially are being rebuilt. I actually substitute teach at Rice and Hubbard. Yeah that was "C" lot, however they have added a police station on campus and completely fenced in the campus. They have moved the guard shack and rebuilt it.

About 4-5 years ago a JT student stabbed and killed a teacher, so since then TISD has been changing things. I know Flint, Gresham, Noonday, etc pretty well. Everything has changed. I am a pilot, so I fly over Lake Palestine a lot. Know it pretty well.

Wow thats crazy!!! Yeah I have some good memories growing up. Spent almost every day at the lake as a kid.

My Parents had Brunson office products and teaching aids store till about 1990's or so. It was pretty big at the time. Alot of the teachers from all over shopped there. Needless to say most of the teacher knew my parents so they knew stuff before I could even tell them LOL

Well that could be a good thing or a bad thing. I remember Tyler vaguely in the 90's. I grew up in Southlake (near DFW) and Ft. Worth. I also grew up in North Dakota and Hawaii. Now I am back in Texas (for now) again. I remember there was like nothing really here and that it was boring from a kids perspective.
