Hi, I'm Mark from Illinois and am not too good with computers or cars. I always wanted to own a Corvette so when a friend in FL had his for sale I jumped at it. Had it shipped up to IL and found that it needs a paint job, new seats, and new carpeting but that's all... lol... Only has 55K miles and runs great. I don't have a lot of cash so it will stay original for awhile longer. I love the Internet for finding videos on how to do stuff myself. I had lazy eyes(headlights) and replaced a gear. Works like a charm. My list of things to fix consists of Bose radio snaps and pops but does play once in awhile. My dash could be brighter for my old eyes. Not bad at night but terrible on sunny days. Hood release latch isn't connected to the dash and I need to use pliers to unlatch the hood. Anyway, those are the most pressing issues and I think I have found some help here and other places on the Internet. I guess I wish I knew who to trust out here. My guess is it is this forum since we all love the same car! Anyway, I'll be posting some questions soon and hope someone will give me good advice.
