Newb from Vt here....
Hi everyone, my name is John, been interested in cars my whole life, all 44 years of it. My dad had his own mechanic shop for 34 years which I worked at for 13 of them. Built a couple radical vw bugs, help with a 54 chevy pu street rod that was my dads. I have loved vetts all my life and decided to pick up this MAJOR of a project because I thought it was a pretty good deal but you can all let me know, and finally put my skills to the test. I will post some pics and info up on the right forum so please keep an eye out and tell me how stupid I am for even TRYING to tackle this but what the hell, im not getting any younger, my health is not getting any better and this will be the last project I ever do so im going for it, lol. I will also include my plans on what I would like to do to it. Anyways, long enough intro....... Happy to join the community with ALL of you..
