Put down a deposit and ordered a 2016 Stingray with Z51 package today. It's supposed to be ready sometime in September. Super excited. This will be my first vette. Went with blade silver metallic, black badges, spoiler and mirrors, black wheels. Yellow calipers. Don't know why, but the yellow brakes just spoke to me. The Z51 package adds so much more to the car with the bigger rotors and suspension setup, and the exhaust.
8-speed auto. Have had sticks... but getting older... don't really want the shifting responsibilities anymore. Just want to drive most with my right foot now and not have that nagging clutch to push and release, push and release, push and release.
Jet black interior. 1LT, because I don't need nan, HUD, and need to stay within a budget of 65,000.
This car has captured my attention and imagination more than any other. I've stood in the showroom and just stared, took dozens of photos, asked a million questions. Settle on the color scheme after looking at a lot of colors. Have always had white, but for some reason, silver has grown on me.
Anyway, those of you have already have the C7, I'm sure you love it. I'd like to hear any thoughts you might have about your experience. Thanks! I look forward to sharing more as time marches on. And would love to do some events that may happen around So Cal.

I will definitely post photos... it's going to be awhile, though. September seems to be quite a way off. Meantime, I'll continue lurking about this forum.
Thanks again for the welcomes. As I'm new to the world of Corvettes, does anyone know where I can find the latest release information on the 2016 Stingray? Is there a website that's "in the know" or some place that will provide this information to the public, or do I just have to keep asking a dealership? Thanks for any help with this question.
Well, I would assume the CF is a great place to find out things on the 2016. However not owning a C7, or anywhere near that, I am not sure of another website. I was ask the C7 guys.
