New Corvette Owner!!
Hello Everybody, I just picked up my first Corvette. After 37 years of owning many many cars I finally got my first Corvette. Its a 1977 L-48 Factory 4 speed in Bright Yellow (56). Brown leather interior, power steering, brakes, windows, AC. Its a numbers matching car with a fully rebuilt Muncie M20, motor has been freshened up, new tires, brakes and exhaust. Virtually rust free underneath. The car needs a paint job, interior work and some electrical work (one of the lights won't go down) and the battery drains enough to kill the battery after about an hour of sitting but besides that it runs like a bear. I would call it a 20 footer. From 20 feet away it looks like a show car. It will be a great project car that I could drive while I am working on it. I need to learn about C3 Vettes now and find all the sources for parts because I need a fair amount of interior parts. Anyway.... I am stoked to finally own a Corvette!
