Tadge I purchased a 65 vet last august and spent most of the fall and winter redoing suspension and interior as well as most of the electrical.
I am having a problem with the motor though. It has a miss in it. I have checked the compression and every cylinder was at 145. I replaced the carburator with a new Holly 4160 c. I replaced the distributor with a Mallory distributor with electronic eye, set the valve lash at 20 on the intake and 30 on exhaust. I then replaced spark plugs twice (AC Delco)
and spark plug wires 8mm spiral core taylors. I guess I forgot to mention it is a 327/365 hp. And after all of this I still have a miss. Any ideas on where to look next?
