Just wanted to say hi. Just got a 1978 for a decent price. Paint, frame, engine compartment, etc are all very nice. Runs and drives good.It has alot of typical issues that I know are going to nickel and dime me. Here are the issues that I look forward to working on:
Headlights dont go up (prob vacuum issue).
Passenger seat slider wont lock in place
Door windows are stuck. Wont go down very far or up all the way
Need to replace/fix drivers side door latch and lock
Many of the consol gauges dont work
Here are some poor quality photos. I will try to get more later.
I used to own a dark blue 78. This one drives much nicer. Steering seems alot tighter.

Seems a lot of 78 trading hands these day.

Took my car to Bairs Corvettes (I'm only 7-8 miles from them). They fixed the headlight problem (actuator seals), door latch, and fixed my turn signal/cruise/dimmer swith and arm. I will deal with the other problems myself. I feel very fortunate to live so close to them.
