how can gm do this?!?!
i have been a loyal chevy customer since i have been driving and can not believe the lack of support from gm!!!!!!! yes boys and girls i am talking about the infamous abs module!!! the abs and traction control light came on in my 98 vette and gm says the dont make the part any more, at any price!! they said it is safe to drive but such a high performance sports car that came with these options SHOULD have these options. i have been on line trying to locate the part and also have gone through the the possible fixes like the grounds,fuses, etc,etc. gm put these options on the car for a reason!!!! it is not safe to drive!!! without traction control the tires spin out unless you are very careful not to hit the gas too much!! abd as for the abs , well come on now. if i wanted an old school car without these options i would have bought one. anyway, i will continue to search for the part and any other possible fixes for my poor little vette.
