Back From Year 2000
My wife and I left Corvette's behind in 2000 after getting grandkids in the family. The daily driver was no longer practical. We had previously had a 73 coup, 81 coupe, 98 coupe and the last was the magnetic red 2000 coupe.
So we are not new to Corvettes but wow, after just going to a dealer last month just to look and set in a new Corvette I can tell you 15 years has made a big difference. I was impressed to say the least.
I am very confused looking at the vast amount of options offered in a 2016 Corvette. It will take me a while to learn about that in order to figure out what I would like.
Now the next question has to do with price. I will likely start a thread on that so more people can help me. The last two Corvettes I bought had to be purchased outside of Texas which really angered me. All the Texas dealers were too greedy and would not sell at a fair price. Because of that I bought out of state and drop shipped to a dealer here. Also because of that I have not bought a new Chevy since then as my punishment to them.
So, how about now, can a new Corvette be purchased below dealer invoice in Texas?
