Domestic Virgin
And so the time has come to transition into the world of 8 cylinders. I have come from a long line of popular "tuner" cars.
1989 Supra Turbo Targa (BPU+) 5yrs
1997 Eclipse GSX (Boltons/cams) 1.5 yrs
1999 Kouki 240sx (SR20 swap) 1 yr
2004 WRX (boltons) 2 yrs
2003 Evolution 8 (Bolted/cammed) 10 yrs
And now my 99' C5 Glass Targa ~1 month
Granted I have had fast cars...but this....is something entirely different. Gone are the days of waiting for the turbo to spool, gone are the days of being in a fishbowl like cockpit, gone are the days of my car sounding.....un-manly. My c5 isn't fast (yet) but I could care less. She makes me feel like a million dollars. The targa....my god, i feel as though I have missed out on life.
I'm extremely proud to now be a Corvette owner. As I do not trust mechanics, i do all the work myself. And have already taken the liberty of disassembling most of the front of the corvette for "routine" maintenance and cleaning. Let me tell you, standard is going to have to get some getting used to. I need all new tools now, everything I have is in Metric
but who cares (punches wallet to shut up) i have a vette now

Update, got new Tires and Ordered Corbeau seats to replace the non-holding Stock seats.
