Good Day Everyone!
Kind of an odd situation here, but I'll try and explain. I'm actually a diehard MOPAR guy -- specifically working Dodge Chargers and new gen 5.7 Hemi's. I recently acquired a private garage out in West Jersey. Along with one of my childhood friends, we brought the building back to good -- running water, heat, repairs, etc. As the "Barn" is large enough to hold at least four cars at any given time, I told my buddy that he could store his Vette there in exchange for all the help he had given me. Which brings me to this place.
What we have is a 1968 convertible 427HP w/4 speed. The car has been sitting in a garage in various states of disassemble for over 20 years. Our goal is to get the car back in working order before the cold weather moves in. A daunting task, but doable - we hope. Understanding the value of a good forum on the Dodge side, I decided to do the same with the Vette - same church, just a different pew.
Short term, I have a couple of nagging issues that I'll attempt to address in new posts. But in the mean time, I'd like to say it's an absolute pleasure to be a new member. I've often ended up here as a guest in search of information. Figured it was time I became one of the family.
