Default New C4 Owner

Not sure if this is the right place to post for a new owner intro. I searched for a link but no dice. Here goes. I just purchased a clean 1995 C4 Coupe in Competition Yellow. Yoiks, is this thing yellow!! Its a 6 speed. I have a 73 coupe, Camaro orange, L48 4 speed with Hooker headers and side pipes, the ones that fry your legs when you get out. But they sure sound great. My C4 has 99,000 miles and appears to be in great shape mechanically. The interior looks used but in pretty good shape. Except the shifter area. It looks like someone stomped on it. Just about every piece is broken, cracked or displaced. I have a new shifter plate and am rebuilding the rest. I'll be changing the trans fluid as it whines like a Massey Furgeson in the low gears (Amsoil Synthetic 75-90). The synchro's feel fine. I'm looking forward to taking some nice rides and enjoying the forum. I thing I made a good choice. By the way, purchased for less than $6 grand. Nice find.
