Title kind of says it all. I don't own a Vette, and I haven't owned one in more years than I care to remember. I had a couple in my younger days, but I always drove them too fast, and knowing that if I were to continue down that road, both me and the car might be broken into too many pieces to be put back together. That is when I sold my L88, to the relief of my family and then girlfriend. The fellow that I sold it to, totaled it less than a month later. Too much car for an inexperienced driver.
I do own a few "sister" Chevrolets, such as my 1962 Chevrolet Station Wagon ambulance, and a couple of Corvair Spyders. Interestingly enough, these cars share a lot of parts with the Corvette, and that is how I came to these forums a long time ago. I do read a lot of the old posts to take advantage of others experiences, when I run into a stumbling block, or just need another perspective on the subject at hand.
