I'm happy to say I'm the new owner of an black '09 Z06 3LZ with 8,300 miles. Before I go further, I want to thank all of you on this forum for all of your posts and collective information. I have studied the posts and knew exactly what I was buying. I was patient and waited years to find exactly the Vette I wanted.
I just made the purchase yesterday and love it. My friend has a velocity yellow '07 Z06 and from the moment I first drove it years ago, I was hooked. The LS7 pulls with such vigor, yet is mild mannered if you want it to be. I love the look, as I do all of the generations.
I started my days as a listserve member on the Nissan Maxima listserve back in the mid 1990's; before forums were even around. It then evolved to a BBS and then these types of forums. The collective information from enthusiasts is so invaluable and having read several topics on this forum have proved to be very educational.

Nice ride, congrats. I just bought a new C6 2008 vette. I love the car I want to take it to a shop to have it looked at to make sure it is running in great condition. Don't know where to take though.
