I don't have a Corvette, I wish I did. But what I do have is a 1957 Chevy with a 1965 Corvette Carter WCFB 4bbl. carb #3697 with a surging problem. I bought a carb kit for it, and I was researching for any informational steps I could find for how to do it. Never took a carb apart before. My 1957 Shop Manual has step by step disassembly and reassembly instructions for a Carter WCFB carb #2505. Can anyone tell me if there is a free online instructions for rebuilding a 3697 carb, and if the parts and locations are basically the same for all the Carter WCFB's. I know the measurements are probably different for different models, but the sheet that came with the kit has the measurements. Could I go by the 2505 instructions for a 1957 WCFB to redo the 3697? Thanks in advance for all help and or tips.

This forum probably has someone who can answer that for you if you'll recreate this post there.
